celebrate their reunions during Homecoming 2009.
Friday
Last year's Homecoming kicked off on October 3 with our annual Alumni Golf Tournament at noon! That evening the classes of 2003, 1998, 1993, 1988, 1978, 1973, and 1968 met in the Alumni Dining Hall for dinner and to celebrate their reunion. Our 25th Reunion Class of 1983 had a special dinner in the beautiful upstairs of the library, while classes 1967 and earlier had a cluster reunion dinner in the Rhea County Room. After dinner, we enjoyed coffee and desserts at the soccer field where children played on the inflatable games and enjoyed alumni soccer; baseball and basketball games were at Senter Field and Summers Gymnasium.
Saturday
Some of the highlights for Saturday included Departmental Reunion lunches for Aspire, Business, Communication Studies, English, Exercise & Health Science, Hilltop Players, History, Math & Computer Science, Science, Psychology, Politics & Government, and Education. Also, Greek & Bible majors honored Doc Anderson at MY BIG FAT GREEK Luncheon. After lunch, we enjoyed the men's soccer game vs Bluefield while children played on the inflatable games. This great day wraped up with the Alumni Dinner & Awards, followed by a BIG bonfire & s'mores!
This was a fun time to see your classmates, tell everyone your new stories, and hear others' stories as well. But no reunion can be possible unless people plan to come. Please make an effort to attend your class reunion and visit your

Here is the best news: alumni are given the opportunity to help plan & be a special part of their reunion.
