The Bryan Scholarship Fund

"Educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world," the Bryan College mission statement, means a gift to the Bryan Scholarship Fund is an investment in the next generation of Christian leaders.  This is an investment which bears interest and maintains value which is eternal!

Currently more than 90 percent of the Bryan College student body receives some form of tuition assistance. This means the total college commitment to tuition assistance is some two and one half million dollars.

Alumni participation in the Bryan Scholarship Fund provides a very special validation of the College’s mission. Alumni know first-hand the measure of a Bryan College education and now have the chance to help shape the future of Bryan College.

Friends confirm the reputation of Bryan College in the marketplace. By providing assistance to deserving students these friends perpetuate an education firmly grounded in a Christian worldview and assure in perpetuity the Christian education Bryan College desires to produce.

Churches, corporations, foundations, and memorials all help to make for a successful Bryan Scholarship Fund annual campaign.

Donors to Bryan College can give at any level. No matter what amount of participation in the Bryan Scholarship Fund, each gift is important.   Each year the College recognizes donors for their generosity in Bryan Life:

Endowed Scholarships

These are gifts in perpetuity, gifts that keep on giving. Endowments extend opportunities to students from a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and geographical backgrounds. Endowments allow the college to offer financial aid, eliminating financial obstacles which prevent many from benefiting from a college education. Endowed scholarships also contribute to diversity within the student population while enriching a Bryan College education. Through these endowed scholarships, criteria are established between a donor and the college, regulating these annual awards. While an endowed scholarship may be established with a single gift or series of gifts, awards will begin to be distributed when the principal reaches $50,000.

Endowed Chairs may be established, in communication with the officers of the college, with an eye toward attracting quality faculty, recognized Christian scholars, and students of a caliber capable creating an environment of academic rigor honoring to our Lord Jesus Christ. To fully fund an endowed chair a gift of $2,000,000 is required.
